Bugs Day Tuesday, March 9, 2010 Click on the thumbnail images below to access a larger view from the cameras.
Visit the online store, our "Chimporium"! We are happy to announce our updated, online giftshop. You
can find great books, limited edition chimpanzee art, clothing, keychains
and more! At the store you can become a Friends of Washoe member or renew
your existing membership. You can even sponsor a party for the chimpanzees!
Want to learn more about the day-to-day life of Loulis, Tatu, and Dar? Visit Pan bloglodytes, the official CHCI blog. These cameras update every 30 seconds. To view these updates, select "refresh" on your web browser. The chimpanzees usually have access to these play areas at the following times (Pacific): Summer Hours (mid-June to mid-September):
Winter Hours (mid-September to mid-June)
All times are approximate. The chimpanzees may or may not be visible since the camera covers only a section of one room, but the camera is pointed at an area with relatively high traffic. Humans may be visible cleaning outside of these times. (Humans never enter any area when chimpanzees are present.)
